To Join!

1. ALL are welcome to join, but it would help if you're a LOTR fan
2. Add TheClub icon to your journal page. Like this; : iconLOTR-TheCLUB : (only with no spaces between the colons).
3. Please send a note to the club, OR to the Club Mod; with the subject 'JOIN'. Please include your name and your preferred LOTR race (Man, Elf, Hobbit, Dwarf, Wizard, Nazgul, Orc, Urak-Hai, etc) So we can put you in your 'race' category (just for fun! ).
4. Please respect ALL club members. This is the only club rule, and if you break it, you will be removed from the club.



Submitting Your Work!

Send a note to TheClub or to Christina (TheClub mod) with the subject 'SUBMIT'. Please include the URL(s) to the work(s) you'd like to submit to the club. Your work should be submitted within one week of your noting us. If not, please send us another note with the same info, just in case your note has been accidentally deleted.

Welcome to the LOTR-TheCLUB Contest Page! As most of you know, TheClub will be hosting a new contest each month. Each contest winner will recieve a prize and have their winning piece displayed under 'Featured Deviation' on TheClub profile.



Contest Rules / Info:

1. NO Contest submissions may contain ANY inappropriate material. LOTR-TheCLUB is a 'PG-13' club.
2. Each contest will have a deadline or specific date when no more pieces may be submitted for the contest. After the deadline has passed, do not send notes begging us to submit your contest entry. It's your responsibility to get your entry to TheClub mods on time.
3. Each contest will have a different (Lord Of The Rings) theme that must be followed. Do not ask to submit an entry that is not of the same theme as the contest.
4. For each contest, (unless stated otherwise..), you may use ANY medium/style of your choice to create your entry. This includes drawing, painting, photomanipulation, sculpting, writing (a fanfic or poem), etc etc. It's up to you!
5. And most importantly, all entries MUST be Lord Of The Ring themed (unless stated otherwise).

June 2005: For the June contest, because we have just opened TheClub, the theme will be 'Counil Of Parties'. For this theme, draw a picture of The Fellowship at the Council of Elrond; having a party! yAy!!
